Isn't it interesting? Do you feel mouthwatering after seeing the pictures above?

So how can you adopt a healthy eating habit?

Take alook at Kapow's Guide to Healthy Eating below.

1) Portion Control x20. This is probably the most important tip. Let yourself try that tiramisu! But make sure it is just a taste. Share that piece with another co-worker and make sure you ask for a few spoons before it arrives. Or at that open buffet, go ahead and have a mini burger. Restricting yourself too much is no good and you’ll probably end at your local fast food drive-thru drive-thru after.
Control your portion. Yes in Malaysia, when we are events, we see food, we tend to take as much portion as we have because it is FREE. Who like FREE food? Because in some events that provide FREE food, with a hungry stomach, we naturally will take quite a big portion. If controlling the portion do not work, what to do next?
Try to move around, meet people engage in conversation.

Kapow events say : Get off your butt and start talking.
2) Don’t be a Wallflower. Engage in conversation and be actively involved at the event to keep distracted enough to stop any temptations of revisiting and overindulging in these foods. Get off your butt and start talking!
What comes next?

How to prevent overeating?

Kapow events says snack before events so you will not overeat during the event.

3) Eat a Snack BEFORE Your Event. If you go to the event with an empty stomach, your more than likely to overeat. Eat a piece of fruit or some pretzels beforehand and your food choices will be much better.

The last tip is the key - what now?

Kapow events guide says

4) Don’t stress. The last tip is really the key here. Everyone knows that feeling stressed can add to over-eating or over drinking your calories. So make sure to go into the event with a clear head and if you end up eating two instead of just one of those mini cheeseburgers, don’t feel bad. It’s really all about not stressing. Hey, you are trying, aren’t you? read more here

So the next time you go for event, you know what to do. Let us remember to do the following like what Kapow has taught us to do.

1. control your portion

2. Move and start talking

3. Snack before you come

4. Have a clear mind before coming to the event.

Do enjoy all events you go, from experience, every event has something to take home.

Do go out and meet the people. You never know who will be in the event and what will happen after the event.

It is almost the end of the year. I am sure it is time to plan for annual dinner or annual activities to keep the momentum going. Do look for us if you need any help in planning, and executing your companies event.
